		<description>It's true that Stevens has done more than the average republican for Hawaii.  Maybe even more than the rest of the gop party in its entirety, local, state and federal.

Indeed, despite the fact that our current glorious, well-publicized and media savy governor is everywhere in the media, evidently trying so hard, against all odds, to scribble her precious name on paper and release funds approved by the legislature months and months after previous governors would, she hasn't helped Hawaii as much as Stevens has. 

But then I wouldn't expect Dan to run a fundraiser for her, either.</description>
